A boundary adjustment is one of the most common land alterations made. The basic idea behind a boundary adjustment is to move the boundary separating two or more parcels, either changing the angle of the boundary line or moving the line entirely. When performing the boundary adjustment the new corners that define the new boundary have to be recorded with the county via a new Record of Survey.
